Taking the fight against TransAlta to the top.

We need you!  Together we can be a strong voice and demand the TransAlta coal plant be closed!  Please help us get our message heard.  Tell Governor Gregoire today that the coal plant must be closed as soon as possible, by 2015 at the latest.  It can be done.  We cannot afford to wait.  Our children are counting on us and their health depends on it!

Here are some ways you can help:

SEND A LETTER:

To send your own letter to Governor Gregoire, please write to:

Governor Chris Gregoire
Office of the Governor
P.O. Box 40002
Olympia, WA  98504-0002

Or just go to the Sierra Club action alert and take action online there!

TAKE ACTION:

We also need your support during the weekend of the climb.  Our supporters will be unfurling their own banner, lower on the mountain on the InterGlacier.  We need you there to send a strong message to our leaders that we will not wait.  The coal plant must be closed now!

For details on the action, contact John Sellers.

DONATE:

You can help support our action by donating money.  All money raised goes towards the costs of the climb and the action, and any additional money will be held by the Mosquito Fleet, a local action-based organization, for use in further actions.

START YOUR OWN ACTION!

Be creative!  Get together with your friends and neighbors to brainstorm creative ways to get this message heard.  And then let us know what we can to do to support you!

Thank you for your support!!
